Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the complete accounting cycle for our multi-location Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and retail operations. This role is fully in-office and requires hands-on experience with high-volume, multi-location environments.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently while supporting ownership and operations with accurate and timely financial information. Experience with restaurant accounting systems is strongly preferred, particularly QuickBooks and Restaurant365 (R365).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounting cycle, including AP, AR, payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Record and reconcile daily sales, cash, tips, and merchant deposits from POS systems
  • Reconcile third-party delivery and marketplace payouts (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.)
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Reconcile inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and vendor statements
  • Process payroll, benefits administration, and payroll tax filings
  • Track labor costs, sales trends, and operational expenses across multiple locations
  • Manage sales tax filings and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
  • Work closely with management to support operational and financial decision-making
  • Coordinate with external CPA/accounting firm for month-end, year-end, and tax reporting
  • Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and internal controls
Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, or QSR environments (strongly preferred)
  • Experience managing accounting for multi-location businesses
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Experience working with POS systems and payroll platforms
  • Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Restaurant365 (R365)
  • Experience with restaurant labor reporting and operational KPIs
  • Knowledge of tip reporting, tip pooling, and restaurant payroll compliance
  • Experience reconciling merchant processors and third-party delivery platforms
